LEARN THIS, BITCHES.
I would also like to add, Don’t Dress Like A Whore! Heels and Mini’s have no place at a rock show!
I would like to wholeheartedly disagree with this post and its comments, except for the “because […] you want to have fun” part. I’ve gone to see local bands because there were hotties in said band, and ended up loving them and seeing them dozens of times. I’ve gone to shows in Chucks and miniskirts and in heels and in jeans and in hoodies and blazers and scarves and straight from work where the dresscode is black slacks and black polos and straight from work where the dresscode is “wear heels, look classy” and in full makeup and just rolled out of bed, and I none of that, NONE OF THAT, matters, as long as you’re having fun. Fuck, I’ve gone to shows where the bands SUCKED, but I was with my friends, and we had fun. And that’s what matters. That is ALL that matters.
I love all Beckahs.
I generally don’t wear heels or miniskirts to a concert because I wouldn’t be comfortable standing or dancing like that for a whole show, but gtfo with your “like a whore”. Also with your implication that finding people hot and enjoying their music/having fun are somehow mutually exclusive.
IAWTC.
I go because I like the music; liking the music doesn’t make me a whore.
I go because I think competence is attractive; thinking competence is attractive doesn’t make me a whore.
I go because it’s a legit excuse to dress with more risk-taking and with more thought than I do in my daily life; this doesn’t make me a whore, either.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT?
Sex workers are allowed to go out in public. People who enjoy sex are allowed to go out in public. SOMETIMES THEY EVEN GO TO SHOWS. WHAT A SHOCK.
How is this even a thing you guys?
